Upaya Amerika Serikat Dalam Mencapai Kepentingan Ekonomi-Politik di Venezuela Pada Masa Pemerintahan Nicolas Maduro

Abstract

This study aims to determine the efforts made by the United States to support its country's national interests, namely in achieving political-economic interests in Venezuela. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The results of the research show that the efforts made by the United States to achieve political-economic interests in Venezuela by using economic sanction and unilateral diplomacy (smart power) to overthrow the Venezuelan government have not been successful. However, the economic sanctions imposed by the United States on Venezuela were able to make Venezuela's economic conditions worse.
