Abstract

Germany is experiencing an aging population which has an impact on the shortage of professional workers and an alternative solution carried out by the German government is to create a triple win program for professional nursing workers. One of the countries involved in the collaboration is Indonesia. The research methodology used is exploratory qualitative, data obtained through interviews and literature studies. This paper uses the concepts of international migration and international cooperation. There are push and pull factors for migration, namely: the push factor is the demographic problems that occur in Germany and Indonesia, the pull factor is the need for professional labor and the availability of jobs in Germany. In addition, there are three important aspects in this cooperation, namely: mutuality of interests, future prospects, and actors involved in the cooperation. It can be concluded that the triple win program is a program that aims to provide a win win solution to the country of origin, destination country, and the workforce involved.
